During MONSOON it is found that there is severe leakage through side walls of building. Lack of rounding at the wall end of window weather shed can lead to seepage through the crack at the wall junction.
Chip off loose plaster at the brick wall. Before chipping mark the plaster with the chalk and run a Tile cutter 6" away from the outer edge of the marked patch. This helps to isolate the patch from the rest of the sound plaster. Then replace with waterproofing material.
If the leakage is between the joint of beam/ brick or column/ brickwork, the plaster should be removed. As seen on the picture above and below a galvanized expanded mesh is fixed on either side of beam/ column and brick wall finally, apply waterproofing acrylic coating to match the present colour of the building.
Clean the top of the chajjas if any, repair soffit (bottom side of chajjas) with the same procedure as for the procedure for repair to concrete damage by corrosion. Redo waterproofing using brickbat coba method. The thickness of the coba can be 75 mm near wall end and 40 mm at the outer edge. During the making of the watta, there is a tendency to complete the work only with cement mortar Small brick bats should be inserted in the walls slope to prevent shrinkage cracks.
Waterproofing of flat roofs, either done during the construction of a building or afterwards, should – in addition to ensuring their full water tightness – show special resistance to weathering, reliability and durability, elasticity and good adhesion to the substrate.
These requirements are fully covered by the one-component, polyurethane liquid membrane ISOFLEX-PU 500. It shows excellent adhesion to the substrate, high flexibility, high resistance to weathering, as well as UV resistance. It shows high resistance to standing water, thus it can be used on flat roofs without particularly good slopes. It provides a simple, secure and easy solution to difficult sealing points (e.g. corners, edges, joints with roof outlets, etc.).
`It creates a continuous, elastic membrane with excellent mechanical strength, without joints or seams, and is used for both total sealing of flat roof surfaces and for local waterproofing of cracks.
It may be applied to all common flat roof substrates, such as concrete, cement mortar, terrazzo, etc.

As soon as the polyurethane primer PRIMER-PU 100 has set (approx. 2-3 hours), a coat of the polyurethane waterproofing liquid membrane ISOFLEX-PU 500 is applied along the cracks and, while it is still fresh, a 10 cm wide strip of polyester fleece (60 g/m²) is embedded. ISOFLEX-PU 500 is totally applied on the remaining surface in a single layer. After 8-24 hours, depending on weather conditions, a total second coat of the polyurethane waterproofing liquid membrane ISOFLEX-PU 500 is applied. After 8-24 hours, depending on the weather conditions, a third layer is applied in the spots where reinforcement has been used for its full coverage
PVC waterproofing membrane is a modern roofing material, which is made of high quality flexible (plasticized) polyvinylchloride.
Depending on the application area there are reinforced and unreinforced membranes. Reinforced waterproofing membrane has a reinforcing base in the form of polyester mesh or glass fiber and it is used for waterproofing of roofs. Reinforced membranes have increased durability. Unreinforced membranes are more flexible, have high tear resistance and are used or waterproofing of underground structures, tunnels, swimming pools.
